Company

What we're building. And why now.

Where we're going, who's building it, and the path between the two.

Founder story

Etienne and Lucas bring different but interlocking strengths. Etienne comes from data science and has spent years building voice-driven software for professionals whose hands are on the workpiece, not the keyboard. Lucas owns system integration: the bridge between sensors, machines, systems of record, and the platform on top. Before he built software, he stood at the workbench himself, oil-streaked hands and a clipboard that was never in the right place at the right time.

Both have seen first-hand where classical software fails in technical environments, and what it takes for it not to fail.

Amphidata is the system they wished they had: voice-native, agentic, screen second.

Principles

  • 01

    AI as infrastructure

No premium tier. No token counter. Language models run continuously in the background. Like a database, not like a feature.

  • 02

System of record for the floor, not a layer over other systems

We don't try to be a universal integration platform. We ship the system of record and the system of capture for the shop floor together, and we connect to the third-party systems our partners actually rely on, on request, where the integration is frictionless.

  • 03

    Why now

Local language models are industrially viable for the first time in 2025. Fast, German-capable, deployable without an internet connection. The window is open.

What we're not

We said no to a few things on purpose.

  • Not a universal integration platform.
  • Not a per-seat tier.
  • Not a metered AI add-on.
  • Not an enterprise sales machine.

Next step

30 minutes. No demo slides.

We listen to your maintenance day, show you what's already live, and talk terms. If it fits, we shake hands as founding partners. If not, you got 30 minutes back.
